"Urban Agriculture" Workshop:

This event aims to facilitate the exchange of information by bringing together students of architecture and agricultural engineering from Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University with experts and local authorities. The event, which is planned as a workshop, will provide an opportunity for discussions and suggestions on how to create more effective guidelines for bottom-up approaches and policy makers for the dissemination of urban agriculture in Tekirdağ and other cities. Open to everyone.

Book: Tekirdağ Design Charrette: Scenarios for Waterfront

  Within the framework of the Erasmus + KA171 project carried out between Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University and Albania Barleti University, an event titled “Tekirdağ Design Charrette: Scenarios for Waterfront” was held between July 3–6, 2023, in Tekirdağ, Türkiye. The proceedings of the charrette conducted in collaboration with Universiteti Barleti and Tekirdağ Namık Kemal Üniversitesi  and organized in coordination with İstanbul Arel Üniversitesi  in 2023, funded by the Erasmus + KA 171 project, have just been published.  The book, which was carried out with great effort, aims to highlight the importance of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches in addressing the challenges and opportunities in the coastal areas of Tekirdağ and to encourage collaboration between local administrators, policymakers, and various stakeholders in shaping the future development of this strategic coastal city.
