Unfolding Walls of White Cube
Project Description
We plan
cities and we design art space. The white cube orientates us through the
contrast it forms between the work of art and itself. In contrast, why don’t we
let art emerge and extend in its unique production space and let it shape its
space itself?
Deriving
from the rhizome term as an anti-structure, this ambiguous project is a
suggestion of a nowhere art space. Here, art is understood as overlapping section
of possible lives, experiences, paths and thresholds apart from corporatization
and dominant curatorial practices. Unfolding
Walls of White Cube takes its inspiration from all forms of art: daily
events, from digital art to the performance art that take place in urban space,
below and aboveground both visible and invisible.
